- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a fantastic place. There is no cell service. That makes it even better. Follow the Sheep River through the foothills in this beautiful provincial park. It's got the bonus that it also didn't seem at busy as some other ones we'd visit, so driving and stopping to see stuff is pretty easy - and that was on May long weekend. Paddlers hit the falls on Sheep River, but we weren't lucky to see any of that. Highlight for me was the Bighorn Lookout - I could have sat there an absorbed the scenery for hours.
